Missions

In both formal and informal ways, FBBC wants to connect with, support, and strengthen local church in California, in the United States, and around the world.

Below are the agencies FBBC supports through it's annual budget.

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC)

Through the Cooperative Program, FBBC gives to various SBC entities, including:

  1. The California Southern Baptist Convention
  2. The International Mission Board
  3. The North American Mission Board
  4. Various Southern Baptist Educational Institutions

The Los Angeles Southern Baptist Association (LASBA)

LASBA is a local network of churches seeking to raise up more healthy churches in southern California.

The Navigators

FBBC supports Alex Mata as a missionary of The Navigators. Alex' work includes family counseling, developing discipleship among churches, and coaching pastors in California and other states.

The Master's Academy International (TMAI)

TMAI helps train and develop indigenous pastors all over the world. FBBC supports three TMAI locations:

  1. Mexico: Palabra de Gracia Seminario Bíblico (PGSB)
  2. Honduras: Ministerios Evangelicos de las Americas (MEDA) which operates the Seminario para la Predicación Expositiva (SEPE). For more information about working with SEPE through missions trips, gap-year programs, or internships, visit sepeinternational.org.
  3. Argentina: Instituto de Expositores en Argentina (IDEAR)

Local Churches

FBBC sets aside funds to directly support like-minded churches in our area.
